Title: 

Investigation on the effect of design on the flight distance of a model glider.

Abstract:

In our experiment, we are trying to find the most effective wing design that encompasses both speeds, distance and efficiency. As fuel price get more expensive, more efficient wing designs will help airlines cut back on costs. This would also help the environment as there is less fuel burned, releasing lesser amounts of CO2 into the atmosphere. Based on our results, the Delta Wing design flew the furthest, 30 meters with a 4kg force. However, we think that the delta flew the furthest due to the speed it generated with its aerodynamical wing design. More information on this in the conclusion page under area for further study.
